Moleculartrout is a DJ from Greenville, SC. He has had a deep affection for electronic music since he was a child and that love grew throughout his younger days as a DJ in central Florida during the mid 1990's. He would often be found playing minimal deep tech in a dark warehouse or out in a forest alongside hundreds of other house and techno music lovers. As the years went on he grew away from the "scene." In early 2016 moleculartrout had a second awakening and fell back in love with the music that shaped his life. He made the switch from vinyl to digital and began a new journey into sound. He is known for taking an organic approach to electronic music and DJ culture, incorporating indigenous vocals, chants, hand drums, and instruments to many of his mixes. His love for house and techno is even stronger than it was before and it is evident in the faces of those who attend any event he is playing. SInce emerging back onto the scene he has played at every local house club in Greenville and has been local support for such greats as DJ Dan, Matroda, and Black Tiger Sex Machine. Moleculartrout feels music is within all of us and the beat connects us. From deep tech to tribal house to tech house moleculartrout wants to share his love with you.

Asheville’s Newcomer Jesse Edwards, aka JesseJ, has been honing his skills in the music industry for the past year. Originally a business major, JesseJ new style of trap blends heavy dubstep with rap influences from his childhood to create a deep bass dance experience for all music goers. His mixing technique along with his unique song selection skills combine to bring together an eccentric dance experience.

JesseJ’s evolution into the music scene has allowed him to introduce another element to this community and this has allowed him to extend his range of talents even further. His use of songs from the underground music community allows JesseJ to challenge the boundaries of other musicians. Utilizing this method, JesseJ is able to tell stories which explore the depths of movement and composition within the human body.

A veteran of the electronic music scene and proud resident of Anderson, South Carolina, Damon Downs began his music career producing Indie Music in the late 1980's, sampling from Euro Wave, Goth, Industrial, Punk, Ambient and other alternative music popular with college radio in that era. In the early 1990's, Damon joined forces with Tim Williams to create the regional band SHUTTLECOCK. As time passed the band ran its course and dismantled and Damon dove into Electronic music just as the Rave scene began brewing. Joining forces with Vocalist Kat Banks, ECHOSPHERE was born and was immediately signed to JOURNEES out of California where they achieved great success with several club hits and many 12" Records as well as four full Albums. Damon then went solo and on to play events such as the Acapulco Word Sound Festival with over 50 of the world's greatest DJs and producers including Moby, Carl Cox, Nick Warren, Infected Mushroom, Ltj Bukem, and Deep Dish. With over 60,000 in attendance it was the world's largest electronic music festival at the time. Following that, Damon began to explore more of the organic electronic aspects of electronica--ambient, psytrance, liquid drum and bass, while simultaneously revisiting his alternative roots, experimenting with vocals, guitars, drum machines, and synthesizers. By 2017, Damon had positioned himself in a self-sufficient lifestyle, creating his very own paradise in the woods with his family on their homestead in Anderson and decided to gather his life's musical work, reinvent himself, and fully pursue music production with the culmination of his knowledge at his disposal. In the last few years he has produced an impressive array of Hi-Tech EDM, driven by all the styles of his past, producing over 3 albums worth of his Best Work Ever for Robot Hunter Records. Damon now brings his music to the world as a DJ, playing solely from his library of original works produced over the last 30 years.

Hi I'mSerena and I came to this gathering to share with you what inspires me musically.
My galactic connection happened in 1983 at analog studio called 21st Century in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. This is where my husband Barry learned to build professional recording
studios and I have had the privilege of having our own multi-track recording studios in
our homes for the past 35 years. I have been experimenting with electronic instruments,
searching for space frequencies and healing melodies, to expand our experience of Cosmic Consciousness. I play from My Heart Intuitively.

Flint Blade creates live, uplifting “jambient” soundscapes of voice, beatbox and the Chapman Stick — a guitar/bass hybrid instrument played by two-handed tapping. Since adopting the rare instrument at an early age, Flint has grown to be among the most prominent of Stick players worldwide. Based in southern Florida, Flint tours nationally and has produced, recorded and published his own albums since 2005, establishing his own label “In Love Records” in 2014.

Garuda is a music project out of Atlanta that blends wild, weird, and wonky bass lines with an array of different deep vocals and spiritual melodies. Had the pleasure of sharing stages all over the southeast with names like Minnesota, Atyya, Esseks and more. The goal of the project is to have you think deep and dance hard while feeling connected to the ones around you.

She currently resides in Asheville and plays in many local venues there.

LOL LLC, 185668232 is a non-profit, multimedia noise-glitch avant abstract alchemical activist, touring 2x/year since 2007 and as "185668232" since 2009. As one number number demonstrating <# of Earthen condition via 'poeticalogic' buried beneath syncopated field recordings, instruments/non-instruments, processed by digital-analogue sample-machine-work-stations, software, effect pad processors, megaphone, DiYinventions, crowd participation, video projections & zZz to deliver a timeless experience breaching every genre & astral plane.

 

This is a number of social security for public transparency so people can see they are not products for trade or bribery and that there are ways out of self destruction even while everyone around is not being the best. 185668232 has been involved deeply with formal music lessons on drum, piano, cello and singing lessons since 1995 but only started making their own music in 2004 as Emit J. Es, a project to protect identity which proved to be the opposite of what this multimedia project is all about. The project has grown through many genres, starting with what is now considered 'folk-punk,' eventually learning pro-audio technology through an unpaid internship, away from the 'trap' institutions their family could not afford.

 

Picking up the video and image design aspect of the project stems back to childhood realizing the future will be wondering why audio and video were ever separate. Photography college credits in high school as the photography department president through jobs as one-hour photo clerk led to the freelance corporate technician/operator/design engineer day-job career that now funds the entire number project.

Over the past 10 years, 185668232 has been artistically crafting a unique genreless-genre out of fractalizing the world around into the art, meticulously processing concepts devised while away from production gear, through machines and software into file types that are easily accessible to the general public. Lyrical content and the abstracts for each 'song' propose obscurity for the audience to pick up and understand as they will and for them to return to in later years, to find more they did not understand when they first heard it.

The live performance is a demonstration of how real-time moving sonic particulate (waves of air) can be molded into a unique 21st Century sound-scape structure from any object at all. As it is being swiftly organized, what people consider a song, is demonstrated using the contemporary components of pop-music assembled in the only way that 185668232 can produce - brOKen/glitch. Then again, the song is ripped apart again, reorganizing all the sounds that were just collected, adding in more sounds, mashing up internet culture and some older influences together, live on stage and reassembled back into yet another song. This process doesn't seem to get old and can go on as long as there is electricity and time is permitted. (Each song hopefully sounds totally different.) Acoustician noise is also part of the set, to demonstrate that 185668232 has only been pushing buttons live since 2011 and that the limits of the imagination are not confined to unethically made/trade Columbian metals of electronics. Eventually, the audience realizes that 185668232 and the future of music will soon be all genres of music tied together by what is called 'noise music.' Everyone comes up and says how awesome it was, asks for music to buy, sees shirts and an integral cable is always lost while listening and talking to absolutely anyone who is curious as to how to be a 185668232 in their own format. 

 

A serious proponent to the incessant drive of 185668232 is knowing there is no practice life, that failing at something worth while is better than succeeding at something that is not rewarding and from having no back-up safety net circa 2015-2016 when 185668232's mother and father died unexpectedly, closing off a lot of unconditional financial and emotional mental flexibility that resulted in an even deeper sound palliate. In an attempt to not lose their mind, they (185668232) moved to Ithaca, New York, USA from 2016-2017, to save and plan for work and residence and officializing the non-profit paperwork and building a family in New York City. 

 

This project has toured every USA state and 3 countries and has over 150 pop-songs, not including the experiments. In this time, it has opened for many name-drop worthy mainstream acts and been part of some super large events … the project can now stand on its’ own and does not need to list them out but will during an official interview.
